Students in Years 8 and 9 preparing for the Mock Trial Competition recently went on a pre-event visit to Reading Magistrates' Court. Inside a working courtroom, they got to rehearse their roles such as magistrates, lawyers and witnesses. They were even spoken to during the visit by three magistrates who worked at the court and given demonstrations by the court's usher. The team are very excited now for the competition on the morning of 21st March.
